I’ll be leaving my company soon so the other day, I went searching for K ki since it’s near my office. It’s kind of highly raved on HungryGoWhere.

Tried their Antoinette, white chocolate mousse with mango centre.

It has a very rich milky taste (like goat’s milk) which I feel a little overpowering. What I like about this tiny piece of cake is the crystallized ginger on top.

Went to Liang Court yesterday for lunch alone. It has been at least 4 years since I last visited this place. Everything has changed inside. I remember that the Basement level used to have a lot of Japanese restaurants, but now half of it turns into a supermarket.

I had a sudden craving for ramen but didn’t manage to find in the Basement. After exploring the entire building, I settled my lunch at the only ramen store I found – Marutama Ramen.

I ordered the Chicken Soup Ramen with Egg (non-spicy). THE SOUP IS HEAVENLY!!!! I drank the soup to the last drop and it’s the first time I’ve actually done such a thing. The egg and the one fat piece of char siew were fantastic too. The only issue I had was the noodle. Somehow, it seems more like maggie mee to me. Personally the noddles I have tried at other places are much thicker.

Overall, I will still recommend this place for the soup and the egg. Not sure if I can order “Chicken Soup Ramen with Egg without Noodles”.

This morning I saw a small plastic bag on my office table. To my surprise, the cleaning auntie bought me snacks from her Japan trip. =)

This snack seems to be very popular. Jennifer’s colleague bought this for her too from Japan. The other time when I met up with Jenn, she was telling me that this chips is super crunchy and taste pretty good. Glad that I get to try it too. Shall share with my sister tonight. =)

Weeeeeeeeeeeeee~ Went for Mayday concert on Saturday. Enjoyed myself to the max! This time they sang until 12midnight! HOHO! We’ve got pretty good seats too but Ah Shin was at the other side of the runway most of the time, so I only got to see Monster up close playing his guitar. I really wanna go for their Taiwan concert in the future since it feels more “authentic”.

After giving some serious thoughts, I am getting back to blogging. It’s really a waste to let my blog rot away after soooo many years of posts.

I used to blog about school, anime, manga, but guess I’ll be more interested to share with you (whoever that still read this blog XD) my beauty loots, food and bits and pieces of info about my life!

Recently I bought the Skinfood Salmon Concealer Cream + Powder after reading it on Flowerpod.

The Concealer Cream comes a mini jar and the texture is very thick, similar to Benefit Boi-ing. As I didn’t want to dig my fingers into the jar, I used a brush to apply it on my super dark eye circles. It took quite a while to blend in to my skin (maybe I applied too much?).

Then, I applied the Concealer Powder. I’m quite frustrated with the design of the Concealer Powder as it gets really messy trying to tap some powder out of the holes. I ended up having powder on my shirt, my shorts, my sofa and my mirror. zzzz..

I couldn’t see much difference through the mirror after applying. Not sure if it’s because of the lighting. (I tested it out at night in my living room) But when I took a photo of my eyes, the difference was very obvious.

Guess it’s obvious which eye has the concealer on. =)

This morning I applied a thinner layer of the cream on both eyes and pat the powder on my entire face, hoping that it can act as a loose powder. Hoho~ It has been more than 7 hours and my face still feels matt, but lacks the brightness that I had this morning. As for the dark circles under my eyes, it’s still visible when I look into the mirror. I think I shall apply a lil more tomorrow and monitor the effects.

Happy New Year everyone! Yeah.. I know I’m 18 days late.

Wow! 4 months since I last blogged. I’ve gotten kind of lazy every since I started working. Time really flies. It has been more than 7 months since I started on this job. Shall not rant about work now.

Anyway, I’ll be going Hong Kong to catch L’arc~en~Ciel 20th Anniversary World Tour concert! Weeeee~ Dragged Jennifer along since she has never been to Hong Kong. =) After purchasing the air tickets, hotel and concert tickets, news of L’arc~en~Ciel coming to Singapore for concert was released. =\ Oh wells, at least I get to see them twice a year.

I’ll be spending this Chinese New Year in China from 21st – 28th Jan. Going for massage and hot spring!

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee~ Gonna watch Mayday 3D Movie tonight! So excited! I don’t have too high expectation on the storyline though, coz somehow it seems that it’s a movie featuring their concert with those cool 3D effects, with a few short story add-ons to make it into a movie. Oh well.. Shall see tonight!

Will be going to Batam over the weekends with my family~ It has been a while since our last family trip (not counting going to China). Hope it’s gonna be fun.

My cough has gotten better too. Thanks to the herbal tea I drank last night. Shall go buy again tonight coz I don’t wanna miss out on the good food in Batam!

Suckseed

Watched Suckseed on Saturday. It’s a super hilarious movie! I highly recommend as it’s a good stress-reliever. XD

After entering the working world, I realized that it’s very different from school life. I’ve seen, heard and experienced unpleasant things and it makes mi really disappointed and sad. My sis told me to “learn to close one eye” to stuff that I don’t feel right. Life is no longer carefree like before. I need to learn all I can to keep myself happy.

Back from hibernation! =x

So much time has passed since my last post in March. That was like freaking 5 months ago.

In these 5 months, I managed to survive my last year in IEM, completed my FYP, graduated, went to Taiwan for graduation trip, found a job and currently into my 3rd month on the job. Time really flies.

During that period, I’ve thought of giving up on blogging coz my life is now filled with many other stuff (like reading novels for now) that I don’t have the energy and passion to update on my daily life anymore.

But it’s really a waste to let my blog just rot away after 7 years of blogging. So I’m kind of back now and will try to update more often! And the first thing I really need to do is to change a new layout! I’ve been saying that for yearssss…

Oh well… Just wanna inform you (yes, the one reading this sentence now) that I’M BACK! =D

Acuvue!

One post per month.. I’m making some improvement! HAHA!

Collected my Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism (bi-weekly) today. Yes.. I know it’s SUPER expensive.. but I’ve decided to take good care of my eyes before they go blind.

I still prefer Acuvue as it’s the only contact lens that does not dry my eyes after wearing it the whole day. However, the cost of it is DOUBLE compared to other brands.

Initially I had no plans of getting new contacts THIS fast.. I walked in to the new Spectacles shops the other day at Century Square to ask about pricing.. The staff was extremely friendly, took my glasses, test the degree, pull me to the chair and test my eye sight. Then they started to introducing me to the different brands. In the end, the reason I decided to get Acuvue was because the staff told me that she’ll try to throw in as many free pairs she can get on top of the 6 months supply that’s I’m getting.. Who doesn’t like freeeee stuff! XD

I’m quite pleased that she managed to get me 2 pairs (1 month worth) of FREE lens! =D On top of that she opened a new pair of lens (without astig) to demonstrate how to put on and remove my lens. So total 3 FREE pairs! But the one without astigmatism can’t be worn when I need to look at words.. The staff recommended that I only wear them when I go shopping.. HAHA!

I don’t know why but I never seem to have enough time for everything this semester.. Although I’m taking only 4 modules + FYP this semester, I have nooooo time to study my Networking and do my Single Camera weekly readings.

Zhi Xiang suddenly messaged the whole class yesterday and asked if we are interested in the EEE Graduation Night. I am EXTREMELY surprised that he would organize such stuff. haha.. I’ve decided to go since most of them are going too. $45 + a $15 goodie bag at Fullerton Hotel. Sounds good. =)

I’ve been dreaming about tsunami recently. It’s damn tired.. Having to run and run and run.. That must be the reason why I haven’t been sleeping well these days.. =\
